About the Instructor:
Breadwinner and eldest to a family of 7, Roma Agsunod built a local arts and crafts business called Popjunklove with her sister, Maan, with only Php 5000 as capital. After a few years of juggling the business with her day job as chief TV reporter, she left the crazy world of news for the even crazier life of a full-time creative entrepreneur. A few more years of hits and misses, she and her sister were able to put up Common Room PH, a shared retail space that houses locally-made products of more than 100 Filipino artists and makers. From being 24/7 girl boss to Popjunklove, she is now a full-time “mother hen” to her Common Room partners, constantly looking for ways to provide a safe space for creative entrepreneurs to thrive in the retail industry.
